Lying just over three nautical miles east off Terrigal, the SS Galava wreck is an impressive dive. Due to the depth at 51 meters, this dive is suitable for experienced divers only.
Shoals of baitfish surround the wreck and ever-present wobbegong sharks lay around the wreck site. Expect to see large kingfish as you descend the anchor line.
As can be expected, this is a dive only for the very experienced deep diver. You need to be properly equipped with a minimum of a pony bottle. An excellent shipwreck, with great fishlife as well.
